Mobile Release Notes
Branded Mobile App & Kajabi Mobile App
- Rollout began on September 8th and all updates were live by Sept 11th
Android 4.16.0
Enhancements
- Reply in threads inside direct messages. See how many replies a message has, open the thread, and reply there. You can also send your reply to the main conversation at the same time.
- "New Challenge" announcements in your community now have a tappable "Join now" link that takes you straight to the challenge.
Bugfixes
- Long-pressing a message in a direct message now reliably opens the Copy, Edit, Delete and Reply menu.
- Removing a photo or file while it is still uploading no longer leaves the Send button stuck.
- Challenge pages open more reliably, and you now see a message if something cannot be opened
iOS 4.16.0
Enhancements
- Direct messages show every attachment. PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, audio files, and any attachment after the first now appear in the conversation instead of an empty bubble. Tap a file to open it, or tap a photo to view it full screen and swipe through the others in that message.
- Thread replies show up in your DMs. When someone replies in a thread and chooses "Also send to DM", the reply now appears in the DM conversation. Threads read like a conversation, and you can reply from inside one with the same "Also send to DM" option.
Bugfixes
- The DM composer works at larger text sizes.
- Camera and microphone work in community live rooms. Joining a live room or meetup from the community no longer shows a black video tile with no mic. Video no longer freezes on a single frame or shows backwards controls in the preview.
- Live rooms open more reliably. The live room now opens inside the community itself, so it keeps working for communities that have moved to the new video provider.
- Meetup chat links keep you in the meetup. Opening an image or link from meetup chat shows it in a pop-over instead of taking you out of the live meetup. Rolling out gradually.
